Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 August 2026
PostPAP is a link-triggered branded camera. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what stays on your device.
Who we are
PostPAP (“we”, “us”) operates the PostPAP website and camera experience. Questions about this policy: reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Brand accounts (Google Sign-In). When you sign in to set up a brand, we receive your Google account ID, email, name, and profile picture from Google, and store them to create and manage your account.
- Brand & site settings. Information you enter on setup (brand name, colors, filter, optional logo URL, site name, link name).
- Sign-in session. After you sign in, we keep a secure browser cookie so you stay signed in. It is not used for advertising.
- Usage counts. For each branded camera link we may count anonymous actions such as open, capture, save, and share. These are tied to a temporary random id in the browser — not to your Google account.
Camera photos
Photos taken in the PostPAP camera stay on your device. We do not upload your photo to our servers. Saving or sharing uses your device’s own download or share sheet.
How we use information
- To authenticate brand owners and keep them signed in
- To publish and serve branded camera pages for your sites
- To show basic performance stats (opens, captures, saves, shares) to brand owners
- To operate, secure, and improve the service
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We use infrastructure providers (for example hosting and database) that process data only to run PostPAP. Google processes Sign-In under Google’s Privacy Policy.
Cookies & on-device storage
- A secure sign-in cookie so brand owners stay logged in
- A short-lived anonymous id in the browser so camera usage counts stay separate from accounts
Data retention
Account and brand data are kept while your account is active. You can sign out at any time (this ends your sign-in session). Contact us if you want your account or brand data deleted.
Children
PostPAP is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
